Dr. Gary Levine is a specialist in orthodontics, providing orthodontic treatment for children, teens and adults. He graduated from the University of Manitoba’s School of Dentistry as a Doctor of Dental Medicine in 1980. He then returned to the University of Manitoba in 1983, earning a Master’s Degree in Preventive Dental Science and a Certificate of Clinical Orthodontics in 1986. He has been a member of the Royal College of Dentists since 1989. In 2007 Dr. Levine became a staff member at the University of Manitoba Dental School, where he is an instructor in the graduate orthodontic program. Away from the office, Dr. Levine loves to spend time with his daughters, as well as travelling and working out. He enjoys finding new ways to inspire fun and laughter in the office.
Our experienced and skilled staff work as a team with Dr. Levine. Our dedication and care are truly what sets our practice apart. Many of our staff have been patients or have children in treatment here, so our team is especially attuned to your care and comfort. We always keep you informed and welcome parents into our clinic area for updates or simply to observe. We continually monitor the latest advances in orthodontics and attend continuing education courses.
“I joined Dr. Levine’s office in 2011, but I’ve been in the dental field since 1983. I am so blessed to be a part of this amazing team! The patient care in the practice is so inspiring and makes my job that much more enjoyable. My husband, Ron and I have been married since 1994.
We have two awesome kids, Corey and Cassidy. I love bragging about their accomplishments. As a family we love going to the cottage and spending time together.”
“Hi, my name is Leslie and I am proud to say that I have been a part of Dr. Levine’s orthodontic team since 1996. I love my job and all the new people I get to meet and help treat every day. I am Mom to three wonderful children, two boys and one girl. They are the joys of my life.”
“My name is Sharron and I am Dr. Levine’s accountant. I work mainly from home, but can be seen periodically in the office. I began working for Dr. Levine in 2005 as his office manager and semi-retired in 2012, but continued on as the accountant. I still enjoy being a part of Dr. Levine’s team.”
“Hi, my name is Cindy and I’ve been working for Dr. Levine since 1990. I started out as a receptionist, greeting patients and their families and scheduling appointments. In 2005 I became the first Treatment Coordinator in the office. I helped educate new patients and their parents about the orthodontic process and the procedures they would be experiencing. Just this past year I was offered the position of Office Manager and I am now responsible for patient accounts, as well as looking after any government-related paperwork. I also take care of assorted personal and business matters for Dr. Levine.
“I’ve really enjoyed the challenges I have faced along the way and I can truly say that I love my job!”
“I have worked in the orthodontic field since 1988 and have enjoyed every moment. I started at Dr. Levine’s office in 1996 as a receptionist and most recently as Treatment Coordinator. My job is to educate new patients on their treatment plan after Dr. Levine has made his diagnosis and reviewed the treatment plan with the patient. I discuss dental benefits, present fees, and give estimates of treatment length.
“I love every aspect of my job and I have the good fortune to come to work every day and interact with the patients, parents and grandparents.”
“My name is Tanya. I joined Dr. Levine’s office in May of 2012. This year has flown by, working with such an amazing group of ladies, and Dr. Levine of course. I am married and have four wonderful children with whom we take pride in raising each and every day.”
Pam is a part-time team member and a full-time busy Mom. She started working with Dr. Levine in 1995. She enjoys seeing the growth and development of our younger patients from child to young adult.
“I have worked in this office since 1986. I’ve been an Orthodontic Assistant for 30 years. The thing I enjoy most about my job is being a part of the patients’ transition into ortho. I have been married for 20 years and have one son. As a family we enjoy spending time together at our cottage in Lake of the Woods.”
